How Softron B.V. processes personal data for the Gigatron site and Gig-a-tronic.
This notice covers the marketing site and, separately, the Gig-a-tronic application. Rights and retention are below.

1. Who we are
Gig-a-tronic by Gigatron is a product of Softron B.V. ("we", "us"), a Dutch private limited company, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) no. 42001589. Registered office: Peperstraat 2, 1011 TL Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This notice covers (a) the Gigatron marketing website and (b) the separate Gig-a-tronic application when you use it. Practices differ between those surfaces — see below. Privacy queries: privacy@gigatron.nl.
2. Marketing website — data we collect
The marketing site is primarily informational. It does not create product accounts and does not currently load third-party analytics or advertising cookies. When you visit, our hosting provider may process ordinary technical server logs (such as IP address, user agent, and request time) needed to deliver and secure the site. If you email us via a published mailto link, we process the content of that correspondence (for example your name, email address, and message). Sign-in links on this site send you to the Gig-a-tronic application on a separate host; account creation and product login are handled there, not on this marketing site.
3. Gig-a-tronic application — data we may process
If you use the Gig-a-tronic application (including after following a Sign in link from this site), we may process account data (name, email, company), usage and technical logs, support correspondence, billing contact details where that applies, and content you or your organisation enter into the service (for example shifts, clients, people, documents). We do so as controller or as processor, depending on your agreement with us.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to operate and secure our websites and services, respond to enquiries, provide the application under contract, comply with law, and — where required — on the basis of contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, or consent.
5. Controllers and processors
For the marketing website, Softron B.V. typically acts as controller. For customer tenant data inside Gig-a-tronic, the customer company is generally the controller and Softron B.V. acts as processor under a data processing agreement where required.
6. Sharing
We use service providers as needed to host and deliver the marketing site and the application (for example cloud infrastructure). We may use email infrastructure to receive or send support correspondence. We do not currently engage analytics or advertising processors for the marketing website. We do not sell personal data. Transfers outside the EEA use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
7. Retention
We retain data for as long as needed for the purposes above, including contract duration, statutory retention, and backups. After that we delete or anonymize it.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and to withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the Netherlands: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
9. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access control, encryption in transit, and monitoring. No method of transmission is completely secure.

11. Changes
We may update this notice. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date on this page. If we add analytics or other cookies to the marketing site, we will update this notice (and any required consent mechanism) before or when that tooling ships.
