My Shifts in the people portal
Your shift hub: My Shifts, Available Shifts, and Verify / Disputes: list or calendar, apply for open work, confirm or refuse assignments, and subscribe via iCal.
Outcome
You open `/resource-portal/shifts`, use the three tabs (when shown), confirm or refuse Pending Assignment without using planner-side tools, and know how calendar export works.
Who it's for
Resource with portal shifts access
Prerequisites
- Resource role
- Some assigned or available shifts in staging help: empty tabs still teach the chrome
Steps
- From the portal home or Resource sidebar, open My Shifts (`/resource-portal/shifts`). This is your personal schedule hub: not the planner’s full Shifts board (soft-link Planning cluster for admin depth).
- Three tabs (product labels): My Shifts (default), Available Shifts, Verify / Disputes. Available Shifts may be hidden if your company assigns only via the planner: then you may see a message that shifts are assigned by your planner.
- On My Shifts: review assigned work (statuses such as Pending Assignment, Scheduled, Change Requested, Completed). Toggle List / Calendar, use quick date ranges, open a row for Quick View. Confirm or Refuse Pending Assignment from the row/actions: modals: Confirm Shift Assignment / Refuse Shift Assignment (do not submit during screenshot captures). Soft-link planner confirm/override to Planning.
- On Available Shifts (when enabled): unassigned Requested shifts you can Apply for. Prefer Hide ineligible shifts (default) so you only see work you can take. Apply opens a modal: after you apply, the planner still must approve before it is on your schedule.
- On Verify / Disputes: completed work needing your approval (the button may say Verify or Approve) or a dispute. Ignoring this tab blocks the path toward Ready for invoicing.
- Calendar: open Calendar Export / Subscribe for an iCal URL: paste into Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar so shifts and out-of-office sync. Next in this cluster: availability and time off from the portal nav.
