Invoicing hub

Open Invoicing. You see KPI cards, filters, the invoice list, and the path to Generate Invoice for agency finance.

Outcome

As planner/finance you open Invoicing, read Total Invoices / Outstanding Amount / Invoices Sent / Total Revenue, filter the list, and know where Generate Invoice and row actions live before the next tutorials.

Who it's for

Planner / finance

Prerequisites

  • Invoicing view permission (create/generate for the Generate Invoice path)
  • Continue from Approving work and invoicing when you just finished approve → Ready for invoicing

Steps

  1. Open Invoicing in the sidebar (or go to Invoicing). The page title is Invoicing Management. Read the dashboard cards: Total Invoices, Outstanding Amount, Invoices Sent, and Total Revenue. Empty or staging zeros are fine: you are learning the screen, not reconciling books.
  2. Use Filters (product label): Status (All Statuses / Draft / Sent / Paid / Overdue), Client (All Clients), Date range (All Dates / Last 30 Days / Last 90 Days), and Period (All Periods). Search by invoice number or client name as the list allows. When filters are active, clear them with Clear Filters. Columns typically include Invoice Number, Date, Due Date, Client, Amount, Status, and Actions.
  3. Find Generate Invoice (primary CTA): it opens Generate Invoice to create invoices from Ready for invoicing shifts. Depth for period, client, project, Fetch, preview, and Save is the next tutorial in this cluster. See Approving work and invoicing and Approve hours and the Invoice Queue if the queue is empty.
  4. On each row, open the Actions menu (View, Edit, Email, Delete). You send or delete nothing in this walkthrough. Bulk checkboxes enable Export, Email Selected, Bulk Edit, and Delete Selected. Credit invoices may show a CR badge linking to the original.
  5. Next: Generate and preview invoices. Read-only invoicing for a client organisation lives under Invoicing and contracts for clients. ORT admin is under Company: here.
