Invoicing and contracts for clients
From the Client finance nav, open Invoicing Management and Contracts scoped to your organization: review billing, do not run the agency generate flow.
Outcome
You open `/invoicing` and `/clients/contracts` as a Client, read client-scoped lists, and continue to Approving work and invoicing when you need the agency approve-to-invoice path.
Who it's for
Client with invoicing / contracts access
Prerequisites
- Client role with permission to view invoices and/or contracts
- Staging invoices or contracts help: empty lists still teach the chrome
Steps
- From the Client sidebar open Invoicing (`/invoicing`): page title Invoicing Management. When your account is linked to a single client, the client filter locks to that organization and the dropdown may be hidden. Review status, amounts, and documents you are allowed to see. Empty staging is fine for learning layout.
- Do not treat this tutorial as agency finance admin: generating invoices from approved work, bulk send, and UBL/PDF production belong on the planner/finance side. Soft-link Approving work and invoicing (`verifying-and-invoicing`) for that path; a later Invoicing depth track may go further.
- From the Client sidebar (or View Contracts on the dashboard) open Contracts (`/clients/contracts`). Search and scan status (active / expired / draft), dates, type, and value as shown. Open View on a row when you need detail: soft-link Client contracts (`md-contracts`) for how the agency creates and edits agreements under Business → Clients.
- If you lack view permission, Contracts may redirect you back to the Client Dashboard: ask your account manager rather than guessing admin CRUD. Settings and Terms in the Client nav are covered elsewhere (Settings track / legal pages): soft-omit here.
- Soft continue: Approving work and invoicing (agency side). This finishes the Client portal cluster.
