Client locations

Maintain work sites under Business → Clients → Locations: list, view, create, and edit addresses planners use on shifts.

Outcome

You can open the locations list (optionally filtered by client), view a site, add a new location, and edit an existing one.

Who it's for

Planner / company admin

Prerequisites

  • At least one client
  • Permission to view or manage locations

Steps

  1. Open Business → Clients → Locations (/clients/locations), or use the Locations card / row action from Clients (row actions often pass ?client_id=).
  2. On the list: search and filter; switch card vs table. Cards may show a map preview. Use directions when you need navigation to a site.
  3. View: open View (/clients/locations/location?id=…). Check name, full address, owning client, map, and Edit / Reactivate as offered.
  4. New: Add Location (/clients/locations/new). Pick the client, enter address fields, optional cost center; use address verification / geocode when the product offers it. Save lands on the location detail.
  5. Edit: pencil from the list or Edit from detail (/clients/locations/edit?id=…). Update address or client link; inactive sites may need reactivate first. Linked shifts can cause deactivate instead of hard delete.
  6. Locations are where work happens on shifts. Next in this cluster: Client projects.
