Operations reports

Outcome

You open the three primary Operations reports from the hub, read metric cards and charts for a chosen date range, open Export without downloading on capture, and know when to soft-continue to Workforce reports.

Steps

1. From Reports, Open Shift analytics (or go to `/reports/operations/shift-analytics`). Confirm Date range at the top (Last 7/30/90 Days, This Month, Last Month, or Custom). Read KPI cards such as Total Shifts for the period, then scroll Shifts Over Time trends and the Resource Performance / Client Breakdown tables. Soft-continue in from Reports hub when you just learned the catalog.
2. On Shift analytics, open Export (permission-gated). The export chrome lets you choose dashboard / by resource / by client style downloads as shipped: open the modal to learn the labels, then Cancel or close without confirming a download during learning or screenshot capture. Use Refresh to reload if numbers look stale. Soft-link Shifts board and views (`planning-board-and-views`) when a KPI disagrees with live planning.
3. Return to Reports and Open Coverage & fill rate (`/reports/operations/coverage-fill-rate`). Set Date range; filter by client or location when the page offers it. Read Unfilled shifts (Open / unassigned), Filled shifts, Fill rate (Filled / total), and Total Shifts as shown. Scroll Fill rate over time, then Unfilled by client and Unfilled by location. Click Refresh to reload. High unfilled counts point to staffing gaps: soft-link planning create/assign depth when you need to fill open shifts.
4. Open Exceptions & quality (`/reports/operations/exceptions-quality`). Read Pending Actions, Disputes, Dispute Rate, and Completion Rate cards; scroll Disputes & shifts over time and Top disputes by resource. Export Report opens export chrome when permitted: again, do not complete a download on capture. Soft-link Approve hours and the Invoice Queue (`planning-verify-and-ready`) and Approving work and invoicing (`verifying-and-invoicing`) when the backlog is what you need to clear.
5. Soft-link sibling Hours per month (`/reports/operations/hours-per-month`) from the hub when you need Planned vs Verified hours by month with Hours type and Breakdown by filters: it is not a separate tutorial in this track. Soft continue: Workforce reports for capacity and Out-of-office. Soft-link Reports hub anytime you need Favorites or a new date range.
