Workforce reports

Outcome

You open Workforce capacity, set a date range, and know when to continue to Finance and setup reports.

Prerequisites

• Reports view permissions (company/team/all) for Workforce capacity
• Out-of-office report requires out-of-office view permission as shipped: otherwise that card/route stays hidden
• Continue from Operations reports when you just finished ops family walks

Steps

1. From Reports, Open Workforce capacity. Set Date range (Last 7/30/90 Days, This Month, Last Month, or Custom). Continue from Operations reports when coverage or exceptions already pointed at staffing risk.
2. Read the KPI cards: Total people (KPI: Total resources), Utilization (scheduled hours vs capacity as shown), Shifts (In selected period), and Out of office (Approved requests in period). Scroll Demand vs supply, then At-risk days (Date, Demand, Supply, Shortage) and Top busy resources. Empty states such as No resources found or No shifts found for the selected period are normal on thin staging. Change the range, or see People master data if the catalog is empty.
3. Return to Reports and Open Out-of-office report. Set Date range (this report often defaults toward a custom or period view as shipped). Review the summary by resource and by reason for the period: vacation, sick, training, and other reasons as your company records them. Planners see company-wide rows; narrower roles may see less as shipped.
4. Use the two reports together: capacity minus approved OOO is closer to real availability before you assign shifts.
